bill seider, aia - principal

Bill brings a thoughtful, soft-spoken, easy confidence to every project he touches. He inspires PIVOT staff and clients alike with his insights and experience; for thirty years, he has set the pace and tone for the firm.
While Bill was raised in New York and educated in Oklahoma, his sensibilities are pure Northwest. His passion for the area is reflected in such major public projects as the Moshofsky Center at the University of Oregon or the Lane County Mental Health Services Building.
Bill is equally interested in the smaller, lower profile project. He has a fascination with the intersection of timeless beauty and function; much of his work over the years has been focused on building remodel, retrofitting, and historical restoration.
Bill has been active in local, state and national professional organizations since his college days. He has been a member of the Oregon State Board of Architect Examiners since 1999 and twice served as board chair.
One client says “Bill is like that one great professor you have in college… when he talks, make sure you take good notes.”
